Stained Glass Workshop for Beginners

• Advice on designing your own projects
Workshops are conducted in a single 5-hour session and limited to FOUR participants.
This is a hands-on learning experience taught using demonstration, practice, and discussion. A large portion of your time will be spent practicing with tools in hand. You’ll be able to complete a project during the workshop and your instructor may schedule open studio hours.
This class is held upstairs at the Hollis-McRitchie Museum and is hosted by the Newnan-Coweta Historical Society. The address is 74 Jackson Street, Newnan, GA.
No prior stained glass experience is required.
What to Bring
Bring appropriate eye protection. It’s required at all times when working with glass. All other materials, tools and equipment use is included in the cost. Bring your own ideas and questions to discuss. Participants receive a sourcebook that outlines the topics covered and includes references and sources for more information.
Workshop cost is $72 per participant.
Note-taking is encouraged and recommended.
